THE GORDONSVILLE HERALD
 August 1, 2025

GBC Family,

We are rapidly approaching the end of our Summer. In fact, teachers and students will be returning to schools shortly. Please keep all of our students, teachers, and district employees in your prayers as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

Speaking of learning . . . none of us are beyond learning something new every day. We have a great resource in “RightNow Media”, which provides over 20,000 videos on Bible Education, Christian Formation, Discipleship, marriage, parenting, personal finances, mental health, and many more topics. There are resources available for all ages, including children. If you would like to join . . . IT'S FREE . . . just enter this address

(https://app.rightnowmedia.org/join/gordonville-bc) into your web browser and subscribe. Best of all, you can share this link with your family and friends, as many as you wish, and give them the gift of the Gospel! There is even a section of resources and studies that I recommend, and will be updating frequently with new and interesting

studies.

Be Blessed and Keep Cool!

In Him,

Pastor Jason

A BACK-TO-SCHOOL PRAYER

Loving God, thank you for the rest and relaxation we enjoyed over the summer.

Today, we pray for our children as they begin their new school year. Bless them with

joy at seeing friends, excitement at new experiences, and a love of learning. Watch

over all who learn, replacing fear with joy, anxiety and peace, and tiredness with

energy. Grant teachers’ wisdom, patience, and joy in serving their students. In Jesus’

name we pray. Amen
