THE GORDONSVILLE HERALD
 November 1, 2025

GBC Family,

I hope that everyone has been enjoying the beautiful Fall weather and is reminded that we are truly blessed to live in a gorgeous corner of the World. This is a great time, as we approach Thanksgiving this month, to remember to maintain an Attitude of Gratitude year-round.

This month, we have our Brunswick Stew and Fall Festival. Our doors will be open to the community, and we will see plenty of familiar faces. Take time to welcome them and invite them to worship with us on Sunday Mornings, or to a Bible Study, or even to a small group you attend. This is also a great time to invite friends and family in to

experience the warmth of Gordonsville Baptist Church.

We also need to keep in mind the reason we do this event . . . to glorify God through charitable work in our community. Our Fall Festival benefits will be distributed as follows: 1⁄2 to the Paul Stefan House (Orange) and 1⁄2 to Hope for Appalachia.

We also have our Operation Christmas Child Packing Party this month. These boxes bring Joy and Hope in Christ to children all over the world. If you can't be here, please take time to pray over the boxes, the hands that pack them, and the precious little ones that will receive them.

In Him,

Pastor Jason
