Happy September GBC Family,

Cooler weather is on the way . . . Hurrah! There is much going on as we head into the Fall:

Bible Studies Resume —

Wednesday Evenings, starting September 16th at 6:30 PM — Journey into Victorious Living (Life of Joseph).

Thursdays at 11:30 AM, starting September 10th , we will be continuing our study in the Book of Acts.

Deacon Election — Sunday, September 6th — Absentee Ballots are due in the church office by 1PM, Friday, September 4th .

Church Business Meeting on September 9th at 7 PM.

Choir rehearsals begin again on Monday, September 14th.

Our “Fried Chicken” Fellowship Lunch will be Sunday, September 27th , in the Picnic Shelter (weather permitting) following Worship. Please bring a side dish and/or dessert to share. Rolls, beverages and paper products will be provided.

For the months of September and October, I will be bringing messages on what Godly Relationships look like and what they don't. I look forward to sharing my studies through the Biblical lens. 

On Saturday, October 3rd , from 10 AM - 4 PM, the Town of Gordonsville is hosting the 13th Annual Fried Chicken Festival. This year, GBC will be hosting a booth, offering prayer, bottled water, and information about our Church. If you would like to join me, please email me at jlbird@gmail.com. All volunteers will get a FREE GBC T-SHIRT to wear the day of the Festival.
